In MCD Multisport sessions we offer engaging sports (land) activities that sparks children's love for sports while developing their motor skills and coordination. We offer a wide range of activities, from basic sports such as gymnastics and athletics, to ball sports like football, volleyball, netball, and basketball. We also incorporate rhythmicity, dance, and elements of martial arts to create a well-rounded sports experience. Our focus is on making sports fun and inspiring a lifelong passion for physical activity in children. Join us at MCD for an exciting journey into the world of sports and fitness!
MCD Multisport Levels
MCD TIGERS
(3-5 years old)
The MCD Tigers programme is all about embracing two core principles: FUN and DEVELOPMENT, and strives to strike a harmonious balance between these two essential aspects. This phase, referred to as the sensitive period, holds immense significance in shaping specific motor skills crucial for overall growth. To ensure the best outcomes during this critical stage, we encourage MCD Tigers to participate in a minimum of two weekly training sessions, each lasting 45 minutes. These sessions are thoughtfully crafted to include a wide variety of engaging movements and captivating games, carefully chosen not only to make learning enjoyable but also to effectively facilitate the achievement of our objectives for this stage.
MCD CHEETAHS
(6-8 years old)
As children enter their sixth year, their coordination skills have significantly advanced compared to earlier stage. However, our commitment to their comprehensive development remains unwavering, with a focus on nurturing their full potential. At MCD CHEETAHS age, children demonstrate an impressive ability to sustain attention, prompting us to extend session times to one hour, with a minimum of two sessions weekly. Encouraging participation in team sports and friendly competition among peers is essential, recognising the vital role of social factors in this stage of growth. These experiences not only refine physical abilities but also cultivate essential social skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, laying the foundation for a promising future.
MCD LIONS
(9-12 years old)
During the MCD Lions phase, children are in a stage where their muscular coordination is still developing, making it essential to utilize their energy efficiently. To address this, we incorporate activities and games that involve stereotyped and rhythmically coordinated movements, as well as collective and ball games that install important behavioural rules while enhancing their sports knowledge. Beyond physical development, these activities also foster positive social interactions among the children. Moreover, this stage serves as a pivotal moment to introduce youngsters to specific sports and nurture their athletic talents under professional guidance. Our MCD Lions sessions remain at a duration of 1 hour, with a minimum requirement of three sessions per week, ensuring a solid foundation for their journey in sports and overall development.
